Seven Set School is an English-medium co-educational institution. The school had its humble beginning with only Nursery classes at Upper Malki in the year 1967. The School was shifted to its present location in May 1974. Thence one new class was introduced every two or three years. Finally, in the year 1987, the school was upgraded up to the tenth class with a first batch appearing in the H.S.L.C Examination. In the year 1998 the school annexed Class – XI Arts followed by Class XII Arts in the year 1999 and in 2006 Science and Commerce streams were introduced.
The school is open to all students irrespective of religion, caste, creed, and community. Its primary aim is to educated students academically. Towards this goal, we strive to instill their minds that sense of responsibility, making them aware of the competitive and challenging world of today. In pursuit of this aim, “discipline” is imposed. It is one of our prerogative which cannot be compromised in as much as learning is a must.
Apart from secular education, the institution also lays stress upon building character and moral strength. Trust, harmony, peace, love, and unity among students are expected to be exemplified. We are strictly drastic on elements that should interrupt these qualities. In absolute terms, personal or communal hatred and enmity will never be tolerated.
As provided under the rules, action against offending students is guaranteed. Report of such kind from parents is most welcome.
Physical development has equally engaged our attention. To this end, we attempt in whatever possible way we can to make life vibrant as because “Health is Wealth”. As such, physical exercise and play are encountered.
MOTTO: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom”
Pledged on the Motto, the school also aims at preparing students to make a good living and teach them how to live a God-fearing life. The Bible says, “for what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and lose his soul”. Closer to God makes the difference.
Hence, our pursuit of the personality development of a child is borne on intellectual, physical, moral, and spiritual upbringing. These knit together becomes a force. For the overall smooth working of the institution, we have framed rules to minimize confusion and goals worked towards.
May the Almighty give us the grace to be able to please Him who is so concerned about our whole being. We believe in humble submission to Him that life may be made worthy of living.
